Dear Journal~ Ptuii

I was in my room. Saw the 'Maggi' boxes in front of me. Tightly and securely sealed. Somehow, I feel like 'unsealing' them. So, I did.

Browse and looked through the contents. Saw the textbooks I loathed, and still am. Open the other box, rummaged it, found old notes, files, test papers.. and to my delight my Grammar books and exercises.. Love grammar.

Then, I saw an exercise book. Big bright yellow sunflowers on the cover. I opened it and it was my journal. I'm not a journal girl. Really. I have three journals so far in my life and all of them exist because I was asked to write them. This one, the sunflower is my third journal, it was dated July 2010. First semester of my undergraduate studies. I read it. It was kinda funny, I think.

July 7, 2010 (First day, Monday) - My first trip to the college main library

" I went to the library for the first time. I went up to the top floor and I couldn't find any novels to read. Maybe it was on the other floor, or maybe they're on the racks across the hall. Or maybe I was too tired to thoroughly look for them. Next time I'll try again."

July 9, 2010 (Friday) - Went to the midtown with Hazreen

July 10, 2010 (Saturday) - No electricity at Mawar College

" The evening was very unexpected. Atiqah and me went to SACC. What for? Air-conditioner... haha."

July 11, 2010 (Sunday) - Dinner with Hazreen

" Then in the evening, we went to Dataran Cendekia where Hazreen and me bought our dinner almost every night. It was so crowded. People were everywhere. The burger was unavailable, the restaurants were full and we were hungry. We couldn't wait any longer. So, finally I only had a chocolate waffle for my dinner."

"Although it's called Larian SAF, I didn't run. I walked the whole way but in the end I managed to contribute a point to my academy, a bonus I must say!"

August 2, 2010 (Monday) - 'Still I Rise'

" In today's literature class, we learnt a poem, 'Still I rise'. It's about a woman who had so many challenges in her life but still manage to stand strong and rise."

August 10, 2010 (Tuesday) - A bad day

"... The class rep asked for me, he wanted to talk to me, in private. Not a good sign. I was proven right. He resigned. So now, I'm the only one left with the responsibility, alone!"

"During lunch time, there were no food to eat. I was so hungry, but all I had was a Mocha."

" The evening class was unbearable. We learnt about APA Style of citation. I hate subjects that takes me to memorize formula and things like that! Citations have formula!!!"

P/s : It's nice and interesting to read daily journals.. Maybe, I should start writing a daily journal.. That's a big maybe.. hehe.
