Dentist...
I went to see a dentist today.
Been having a toothache for a while. Been really a while. I don't remember when was the last time I chew using the tooth. It's been too long that I'm used to NOT use the tooth or teeth.. tooth?teeth? #Notsurewhichtocallit
Anyway, after almost half an hour of dealing with nervousness-of-about-to-meet-a-dentist, finally the number was up. Acting cool and brave, I went inside and sat on the new dentist-chair.. the doctor came and had a chat for a bit.. helps. A LOT.
The doctor looked into my mouth and after saying some "missing" "fillings" "missing" and some more words that are foreign and scary at the same time.. she finally asked me to sit up. It turns out she was just checking out my tooth or teeth and she made an appointment for me to get treated tomorrow morning.
I was relieved that nothing happened. But the dreadful horrible nervousness, I will experience it again. Yes. Tomorrow morning. #longsighhere
The fact is no matter how friendly or gentle a dentist may be, he or she will always be dreadfully-scary in my eyes because that what dentists do to their patients. Unfortunately that's what doctors do as well. What an irony, I think. People go to them to get heal, yet they make us feel a lot worse seeing them..
Wish me luck for tomorrow!
