Whish ~ Whoosh ~ Splash ~ Baam!

A few days before Ramadhan, exactly a day after I arrived home, my friends and I went for a girls-day-out! It was fantastic, fabulous... tiring also..hehe.

The plan was simple. Meet up somewhere and go to Bukit Merah. That's it.

So, in the morning, at around 7am (Yes, 7 in the morning) we -my mom, abah and me - departed, hehe, from my place to Zun's. Half an hour later, I arrived at Zun's place and we went out to fetch Zimah at her place. While waiting for Zimah, Zun and me (or I?) were in disbelieve.. why? haha. This is the first time ever, we went out this early! If you had known us, you should know that going out this early, is almost impossible.. never happened before. It is a norm to us to be 2 to 3 hours late.. never we ever dream of being a minute early, let alone a few hours early! haha. This, my dear readers, this is a history!

Anyway, when Zimah got in the car she told us that she couldn't sleep the night before. She was so excited that she thought of not to sleep that night, fear of being late she refused to sleep..but she slept. haha. She said she woke up very early, at 5.30am! That's how eager she was to go to Bukit Merah :) Once Zimah settle, we continued our journey to Guar Perahu, to fetch another beautiful lady, Aliaa :) The funny thing was, she wasn't ready at all when we arrived at her front door. haha. (Like I said, this being early is not normal, at all) We were waiting outside, but I could imagine the storm inside the house..haha. Aliaa, Aliaa.. sorry.

Our next agenda is Breakfast! Yes. We decided to have Roti Canai for breakfast. When we got off the car, it was very awkward. We were the only ladies, everybody else was 'warga emas'. Men. Haha. So, after some Roti Telur and Roti Kahwin (Ha.. you guys mesti x pernah dengar kan??? It was my first time hearing this too.. It's the same as you order 2 Roti for one plate lah.. haha. Nama ja fancy ), we start our journey to Bukit Merah.

Before we headed to the laketown and resort, we dropped by Zun's grandma's as Zun has an errand to be done. Then, a few minutes later.. Tada! Bukit Merah Laketown & Resort!

Well, this is not the main entrance though
At 10am sharp (seriously) we arrived. No one was there. We saw some staff were fixing things. No one else. We were embarrassed. haha. We went to the ticketing counter and guess what??? The waterpark only opens at 12 noon! haha. Patutla tak da orang ('-,-). We're 2 hours early. So we had 2 hours to kill. What did we do?

After some sight-seeing and pointless walks which lasted for 10 minutes but felt like an hour, we decided to get a ticket to the Ecopark. It's like a mini mini zoo. It has small animals in which you can feed them with bread and vegetable (sold RM1 each, bought 3 packets). Honestly, I thought it would be boring. Not! It was surprisingly fun! :)
Aliaa, Zun, Zimah and yours truly, me :)
Thanks to uncle yg tolong ambik gambar ni
As we entered the park, we met a nice-friendly kakak. She works there, we assumed. She gave us a tour. She introduced and explained to us the animals that they have.. We forgot to ask for her name though. Thanks Akak! :)

First, we met these little creatures. They're a type of monkeys. We're feeding them bread. Zun happily became our photographer..hihi. She's not fond of animals..especially with furrrrr.. haha.

After that, we met this handsome fella!

After taking some picture with this rock-star, we head to the snake house (it's a small room with a number of different snakes in glass??? hehe). When Zimah (or was it Aliaa?) entered the room, something fall (i think) and it made us all jump! haha. Snakessssss. It was funny. Then, while looking at the snakes suddenly Aliaa (or was it Zimah?) point out a snake and asked the Kakak what type of snake was it. It was Zun who answered (confidently and with serious tone) instead of the Kakak. We were impressed, until we saw the big label on top of the snake's glass.. So that's how she knows? haha. We were fooled.

On our way to the Pet Animals, we saw huge crocodiles, sunbear (so cute), deer, peacocks.. and many others that I couldn't remember.. It was not as mini as we thought it would be..hehe. We were gasping for air, which showed how unfit we are (-,-)..

Here are the pets! Do you have these? Hamsters, Guinea Pigs and Rabbits! :)

Camera this way lah --Aiyooo

Then, it was time for the Animal Show! Let's meet the parrots!

The blue parrot (couldn't remember his name) cycling!
 Can you spot him?

Goal!!!

Ronnie's favourite sport - Bowling! High taste this fella.

The who? erm, entertainer? Don't know what to name him.

Of course, no Zun. Takoot, she said.

Then, suddenly, it was 12 noon! Yeay :D We were hungry though, so we went for a quick lunch before we head to the main event, The Waterpark!

Unfortunately, fear of losing our precious gadgets (though mine is not that great..), we kept everything inside the locker. So, no pictures :(

However, we were very fortunate to meet a staff member of the laketown. He has this water camera.. and we asked him to take our pictures (he was actually heading towards us, to ask whether we would want some pictures taken..hehe. What a coincidence!). Thus, here they are!

After a few hours of playing with waves, screaming on water slides, re-live childhood memories, sunbathing, floating-lessons, butt-ache slides and strolling around or should I say floating around aimlessly.. At around 4, we surrendered.. went for a quick wash-up and prayer. Then, we're done. Before we head home... hehe

And also this.. Quack Quack!

No luck

Then, we went to Zun's Grandma's again. She made us some yummy fried noddles, with some jellies and karipap (she bought this one, i think..hehe). Before that, we went to another house, her grandma also (it's complicated, hehe).. here we had a delicious PAU. haha. and I found this in the house..

The school's motto:
iman (me) , ilmu, amal (my housemate!)
PS: this is my other housemate's former school :)
We dropped by Jusco Bukit Mertajam to perform Maghrib Prayer and we went to MCD for take-away dinner. Then off we went home. My arms, both, were sore. Zun was having butt-ache, Zimah and Aliaa were having sore eyes.. Everybody was exhausted, and in pain.. haha.

I couldn't sleep that night. My arms were just killing me. The pain went away a day after.

Despite of the pain and aches and sores, we had fun! :D
