Those Days When Overthinking Got Into Me

I make myself cry until I lost my energy
I remember all those times I feel like a fool
I hear all defeating words at once
I scream out things that I wish I have the guts to say

I give up
I let go
I hide

Those days are horrible days
Those days are dark times

Today is one of those days

I wonder what would you do if you see me today
Swollen eyes
Red runny nose
Not smiling

I wonder if you could make me feel better

Just wondering, because I know I could never show you this part of me
I am not strong enough to make you see me defeat like this
