Last day of 2017 ended with this

'Thank you for 2017'

And I got this for a reply

'Thank you for 2017, 2016 & 2015'

I smiled.

And a few hours later, I couldnt get that reply over my mind. And I found myself in tears.

It was not sad tears
It was not happy tears

I realized that on this very day, the last day of the year, I suddenly feel my existence is appreciated. For the first time, with those seven words, I feel that I matter. And for the first time, I feel that I actually exist.

A thank you wish has never been such wonderful and meaningful until it was said on 31 December 2017.
