I thought i'm a Super Woman..
So, I went to myTown shopping centre. I went there solely due to Panda Eyes. Yup. You read it right!
From the zoo, they were brought to the mall for a stroll.
No lah.
Panda Eyes is a place where I buy my purse, handbags.. But this time, I was looking for a long necklace. Andddddd to my delight, I found ittt. Settle kan?
Nope. Huhu.
I kinda went crazy on my impulse-not-thinking-destress-shopping-spree 😂
YuPPP.
Ladies (and gentlemen),
Let me introduce to you, my first unnecessary addition to my little makeup essentials (*drum rolls pleaseeeeee)
TADA!
Crime Scene: Parkson
Estimated Lost: (RM60+)
Evidence:
For those who knew me as me, would be proud. I don't simply buy make up stuff, because I have no idea what to buy. No idea which is which, what for what.
(I know Zira would be terharu, Eha would show her thumbs up, Haz would be smiling and get super curious to see what I bought & Sarah would just be like 'awwww, Iman is getting married!' 😅 yea that's sarah..)
And yes, I DEFINITELY had no freaking idea what I just bought.
Gonna try to 'paint' my look today with these. We'll see whether I had just threw my money away or I did a good investment on my effort to be slightly and subtly into the trend.
Enough with that. After quite a while, it's time to go home.
NOT!
So ladies (and gentlemen),
Let me show you my second shopping spree!
Crime Scene: IKEA (I know rightttt)
Estimated Lost: Evidence:
Time to go home yet?
Freakin' YES! It was past 10pm when I was queuing. But people are just still going crazy at this hour, and I did a mental note to myself that I will never work there. It must be a nightmare. Urghh.
If you thought the day is over, teettttt! Life was just laughing at me.
After I checked out.
1. I realized I parked at myTown, not IKEA. What this means is I parked at the other mall which is next to IKEA.
2. I was alone (duhhh 😌 thats why THIS happens)
3. The mattress weighs 16kg, I dont go gym guys..
4. I can't bring the trolley with me to the car because it they have those little annoying pilars (dont know what its called) but yea.
5. The security people closed the entrance to myTown from IKEA. If you've been there, you would probably think, how? There were no doors in between.. Yes, no doors but they diligently place some fences (mobile, yes. Can be pushed over, yes if I want to pay a visit to Mr. Police).
So, my first solution was 'Let's just get to the parking via IKEA. The car should be nearby, I parked near to IKEA anyway. Optimistic Iman, ladies & gentlemen.
(At the basement)
NOPE. I WAS WRONG 😂 My parking area was blue, the only colour I'm seeing is green. Maybe next to green is blue? Nope. NOTHING beyond blue. The shutter was SHUT.
So I went up to the ground floor and put my thinking cap again.
My second solution is...
Go to the customer service area and find a good safe spot for my trolley (with the rolled 16kg RM349 mattress in it) and leave it to God. Am thinking to run to my car, take it out from the mall and drive to IKEA pick up area, leave my car there and get my mattress. Yea.
I took like 5 steps away from my trolley, then I realized I don't trust people here. Either the staff will be so efficient to just clear the place up and return the mattress to the rack or other customer will simply take my stuff home.
So nope. My country is not that safe.
Therefore, while standing and holding my trolley, looking at the window, looking at others swiftly push their trolley to their car... I put my thinking hat again. Time is ticking.
And my third and last (I hope) solution was..
Become a Super Woman.
I analyzed the situation. The exit to the parking is about 5 stores away, which probably means 3 mins away. Getting to the basement, there are escalators. My car is parked right in front of the escalator. So, I definitely can do it! I can carry 16kg mattress for 5 mins.
And so, I did.
I put aside my trolley. And carry the mattress. While carrying it, I realized the 3 mins walk felt like an hour 😂 and when I reached the second escalator, 'Damn it! I forgot the escalator was not working!'
So I took a deep breath, and carry it down. One step at a time. I actually thought of pushing the mattress down to roll on its own down the steps 😂😂😂 but then I got afraid that the security would think I got out of my mind and summon me, so I put that idea aside.
I went halfway of the stairs, and suddenly a guy appeared behind me (cause I was blocking his way, haha). So I pulled up the mattress and give way to him. But to my delight, he offered to lend me his hands (literally). Yeayyyyyyy.
So he helped me bring the mattress to my car. He wanted to help to carry it into my car, but I kinda felt embarrassed, so I told him to just leave it to me.
God definitely answered my desperate prayer. Alhamdulillah.
And yes, ladies (and gentlemen),
I finally got home.
And the mattress is worthwhile the trouble.
And I am not a Super Woman 🙈🙈🙈
I need my Super Man.
Where art thou?
