Escaped Escapees at Escape!

Last week was AWESOME. After a looongggg time of not seeing each other, we decided to have some adventure! Myself and long-time-no-meet friends, though there were a few more whom we hoped were there as well :)

So, the day started early. My mum gave me a ride to Zun's place which conveniently located close to my mum's workplace. Not so soon after (hehe) Aliaa arrived with her newly (i think) painted kancil. Since the driver for the day has arrived, we immediately hopped on the mpv, which by the way is manual (note: no one dares to drive the mpv except Aliaa whose driving skills deserves to be praised, naik batu feringghi kotttt~ Daebak!). We went to pick up Zimah and Malin, then straight away toooooo BREAKFAST! Hehe.

We stopped by Subaidah and had our breakfast. There were six of us (including Azida, Zun's friendly friend), all ordered air kosong (dieting, i assumed), all except for? ME. "Teh O panaih satu!" Hehe. Aliaa and Malin ordered murtabak maggi, prior to that Zun said, "Murtabak tu besaq roti canai biasa jaaa". With that being said, both slender girls ordered one each.. however, when the mamak brought the murtabaks to the tableee... we realized we made fool of ourselves! Aliaa and Malin went a bit to a panicking mode.. haha. "Baseq nyaaaaa, macamana nak habisss niii???". Eventually they asked for one of the murtabaks to go.

After breakfast, straight away we headed to the island via bridge. Since it was a first time for us, we weren't sure where the Escape is. But it wasn't hard to find. We arrived at around 11am. First impression, looking at the entrance as well as the parking space.. we were impressed! Indeed.

The facilities were fantastic, the washrooms were clean, the surau as well ( my advice: bring your own telekung), quite a variety of drinks and food (like serious kenyang type of food, nasi ayam, laksa, westerns..etc) to have.. though we didn't have any of the food so tak tahulah sedap ke x. No outside drinks and food allowed in (masa nak masuk tu kena buka beg diorang nak tgk, tapi kalau pandai sorok boleh jeee). There were lockers for belonging safe keepings, which made us 'perak' a bit. Haha. You will be given a wristband (this is the access key to your locker), touch the wristband to the screen, then your locker will open automatically, like magic. Lol. The best part about this locker is that you can open and close it as many time as you want. Letak beg, tutup, then lupa nak ambik air, no worries.. buka and ambik. Then rasa macam sayang lebih kat handphone, rasa macam nak tinggal ja dlm loker.. no problem, pi ja simpan. Haaa.. for me, this is soooo convenient! Cumanya xda tempat utk ambik wudhu' so kena ambik kat sink, tapi shower best la jugak. Hehe.

After the 'locker' session, hehe, we were ready to explore! Then, nampak swing.. apa lg, picture time! Lol. Unfortunately, my Galaxy Note is kinda big so I left it in the locker, therefore all the pictures taken are under the courtesy of my fellow friends. 

1st activity : The Monkey Business - Personally, this is my favourite. There are three levels to complete.. Semakin tinggi level, semakin tinggi ketinggian, semakin susah.. I managed to complete level 1 and 70% of level 2, level 3.. x berapa berani lagi.. hehe. The obstacles are awesome! So many different kinds, and there are some that you think are soo easy, but they're not.. and vice versa. 

2nd activity : The Gecko Tower - This is something quite similar to wall-climbing. Unfortunately, I was a bit tired after the Monkey thing, so my upper body strength.. tinggal 15% macam tu.. so i managed to climb once, 2nd time naik suku ja.. then terus turun. My friends compete with one another.. even the instructor came to join us and compete sekali.. it was fun.. to watch as well... hehe.

3rd activity : The Bungee - The height is approximately sama as a 20 stories building punya tinggi.. This, I raised a white flag. I didn't go for it. Some of my friends did! Gilaaa.

4th activity : The Flying Lemur - This is flying fox terus menerus... quite a distance! The instructor said something about 400meters?? I couldn't remember. But it was faaarrr. There are 4 looongggg one.. We were kinda excited, tapi takut ada la jugak.. bila sampai ja kat platform yg 1st tu... "Apa kita buat ni??? Gila ka pa?", haha. We couldn't see the end of it.. x nampak pun hujung yg nk berhenti tu.. that's how far it was.. the hardest part was to let goooo... jantung mcm debar2 gila, otak dok pikir boleh ka ni? But then, orang dok tunggu kat belakang for their turn, so mau x mau kena paksa diri.. go for it! Laju gilaaa. Jerit mcm apa lg.. haha. Tapi in the end, of courselah best! 

5th activity : Tubby Racer - Its like a long and fast slide on a tube. This one I didnt go. Some of my friends went ahead for it. I was exhausted so.. i didnt. According to them, this one is the best of all! Maybe next time, for me. 

After all of that, we washed up, solat. Then kena halau balik. Haha. They were closing down masa kitorang nak balik.. ambik kau, kitorang spend a whole day there! From 11am to 5.30pm. 

There are so many more to try and explore. The A-Maze - masuk gua and cari jln keluar, Panjat pokok nyok, Swing mcm tarzan tu.. those are the ones that i remember they have but we havent got the chance to try. I think there's more. The best thing about it is that everyone can try everything, there's no age limit, but they hv height limit.. hehe. So, agak tercabarlah kalau nampak budak2 kecik tadika boleh buat, and for guys mestilah tercabar kalau nmpk ladies boleh buat kann.. 

Kalau nk pi Escape ni, boleh naik Rapid Penang Bus (x ingat number bus, check sendiri), bus ni berhenti depan entrance terus! Kalau naik kereta pun senang ja, cuma hati2 drive naik batu feringghi k. Kalau x silap, its located next to the Toy Museum.
