Please Do Not Be On Time!
It wasn't as usual, it wasn't strange either. I woke up that morning thanks to the chills and coldness of the morning. Sat down and realized I was sleeping in the living room, with only a square cushion by my side. No one is around. Quickly grabbed my phone and ... " 6.15am! No.No.No. Haven't packed my things yet! Okay. First things first, sembahyang dulu." As I was walking to the bathroom, I saw Eha's bag, "She's packed." Good for her.
After my prayer, went to the kitchen, took out my small-with-wheel-luggage, and without much thinking started to fill up the luggage. Once that was done, I felt kinda relieved. So, happily I zipped up the bag.. however, suddenly I just saw it.. there was a hole. It was at the edge of the handler.. I lifted the bag and... to my horror, the hole got bigger. Sigh.
So, gotta change bag. I emptied the bag and quickly put the bag where it belonged, swiftly took another luggage, bigger luggage. Once again I fill up the bag, this time, I managed to 'sumbat' my laptop in, 4 textbooks, 1 Harry Potter, and a notebook plus a file. I was happy and satisfied with my effort. Zipped it up. Lifted it up. "Wow! Berat gila!". Somehow as I was packing, it never occur to me that the bag would be heavy.. all I was thinking, 'what else can I put in there???'.. Whatever. It's done.
Knocked Eha's room, hoping to wake her up. It was already 7.00am. Last few days, I kept saying to Eha, "By 7.00am, we gotta move. Have some breakfast at McD, take away Burger King for lunch on the train...".
Today, 7.00 am : Eha is still sleeping, I had just finished packing, and.. haven't taken my bath yet. Bye McD. Bye Burger King. and Bye Dunkin Donuts.
Eha finally woke up. I don't know what she was doing, she took out her laptop and was transferring something to a pendrive. We were both in frantic. Took my bath, and got ready.
We rushed to the bus stand for taxi. It was 7.45am. No taxi was around. The time went by. 7.50am. 7.55am. 8.00am. We were getting restless. Then a taxi came. We were so thankful. Another girl who was also waiting for a taxi, approached me and asked whether she could come along with us. So she did. The taxi driver was very nice. His name is Zaini.
"Balik kampung dengan apa? Bas ka keretapi?" asked uncle Zaini
"keretapi", we answered
"Pukul berapa keretapi?"
"Pukul 9.00", I lied
At the time, I was doing some calculation in my head. It was already 8.05am. It'll take us at least 40 minutes to arrive at KL Central. That means we can still make it to the train. ONLY if at 8.05am we're on the commuter. Now, its 8.05am, we're still in the taxi. In my mind, 'we're not gonna make it'.
So I make a Plan B. If we missed the train (high probability), we should get the next train. If the next train departs at night, then we will have a whole day doing nothing. We should leave our bags in the locker, then go somewhere, Sunway? Mid?. Chillies! I've been wanting to have a meal there since yesterday! Perfect! I guess Plan B is not bad at all. hehe. (This only happened in my mind, this was my thoughts while we were in the taxi, Eha knew nothing about it).
We arrived at the KTM Station and got ourselves tickets to KL Central. At 8.10am the commuter arrived. Once again, in my mind ,'Plan B it is!'. Suddenly Eha said something, "If the train delays, we have a chance'. And then it hit me, 'yeah, trains usually have some delays'. So all the way to KL Central, I was praying for the train to have some delays... though Plan B still seems tempting to me..

The train was quite full, so we had to stand the whole way, being young, it shouldn't be a problem ;p |

p/s : A few years back, Titi and me missed our bus. Fortunately, the next bus was just an hour away. Will our luck be the same this time around?
Find out what happen the rest of the day in The Plan B ;]
