Holiday in June Part 1

The midterm school break started last week. So.. my mum booked a one night stay at JOJO Rakit, Johor. It's a 'hotel' that floats on the water...

A boat ride to JOJO Rakit :)
(safety jacket weren't provided though :( )
That handsome fella is my brother :)
The interior was quite nice, and a little bit surprising i would say :) It's complete with flat-screen Tvs, air-conditioned rooms, the toilet was spacious and clean, it's windy in the evenings but mosquitoes spoiled the mood a bit..

Once we step off the boat, this was what we saw ...

There is a kitchen and a barbeque place for us to prepare our own meal. Unfortunately, we didn't realized that they don't prepare food for customers until we arrived, so curry Maggie with freshly caught prawns and coffee was what we had for dinner.. Since it was my mum's cooking, everything that she made herself tasted 1000 times better for me :) so the dinner was fantastic!
My dad :) It's his Birthday!
Happy Birthday Abah! Love you, MUAH!
My mum :)

My brother again.
Love the lights.

Dinner :)
Later in the evening my dad and my brother went for some fruitless fishing.. haha. I guess they aren't meant to be fishermen..

This is Boy. He kindly borrowed us his fishing rods and he  bought us the bait (Fresh big prawns)
My brother trying his luck

Who's teaching who ?
My dad is fishing for the first time :)

After half an hour, he felt bored. haha

The bait ended up in my dad's and my tummy.. yumm

Later that night, after failing at fishing, we just hang out. My parents were watching a documentary, my brother and I were watching some videos in YouTube :)

"I like Tac-Os..haha.."
Watching Alexander the Great, i think.
On the next day, we enjoyed the morning breeze and some yummy breakfast. By noon, we checked out and continue our holiday somewhere else. That's a different story.. :)

Love  mornings :)

Boat ride back to the shore

It rained when we arrived at the deck
Next destination is... always a mystery :)
This holiday was one of a kind. Though I was bothered with the tonnes of assignments in my mind.. I enjoyed it very much. This is the kind of holiday my family loves...

The 'Kota Singa' was just behind us :)

The trash bin :(
Enough with the reminiscing, back to my presentation preparations..hehe
