APPLES

A for APPLE..

APPLES is the abbreviation for APPlied LanguagE Society...
I love the name.. The first time I read the society's name, I just loved it.. I was in a different school when I heard about APPLES, I was envy to those members of APPLES.. just because the name is soooooo attractive.. hehe.

Today, about 3 years later, I'm a member of APPLES.. not just a member but one of the two high councils left responsible for the society...

It saddens me that the club's reputation isn't as good as it's name...

Now, the seniors hand over the club to us.. so basically, it's our responsibilities now.. Unfortunately.. besides the unofficial 'hand over'.. they gave us nothing.. no files, no explanation, NOTHING.. its as if APPLES existed like a ghost.. THIS HAS TO STOP.

So now I have to do everything from scratch.. (not that anyone asked me.. I just thought that if I didn't who would've??) Now I'm thinking of creating a portfolio for the club.. I need a logo (had my housemate to create one, hehe), I need to figure out the exact goals and objectives of the club (everything existed for a reason right?), I need to do the organizational chart (who's who), hmm.. what else? Positions profiling.. members profiles as well..

*sigh.. what the **** did I learn last semester???

Anyway.. I'm thinking of this...

5a. Bereau of Publications  5b. Bereau of Programmes/Activities 5c. Bereau of Academics  5d. Bereau of Multimedia 

Any other Bereau to add??? (this question meant for you, yes, you Miss Maisarah Kamil-future-to-be-MPP :P)

It is my hope and wish that one day APPLES will be bigger and merrier, blooming just like the apples below.. no more 'loner' apple like the one above.. it's sad..
