Raya + MidSem Break

I've been waiting for this week to come since the first week of Ramadhan. hehe.
My roommate, TiTi, have bought our train tickets a week BEFORE ramadhan. huhu. see how eager we were to get our butt out of the university?!?!

Going Home to Penang :)

Our train was scheduled to off at 10.00 pm on the 4th of Sept. We planned to go to KL Sentral at 4.00 evening, yeah, we were VERY eager to go home! hehe. Then, i remembered an article i've read the day before, there is a bookfest at KLCC. Being bookoholics, we thought of going to KL Sentral, dropped of our bags there, then took a train, off to KLCC...we'll have about 2 - 3 hours to kill before our Senandung Mutiara arrived, so the bookfest-visiting plan was no other than PERRRRFECT!

I was finished with my 'book packings', coz i didn't pack clothes home, instead, i packed my very thick and heavy books (eclipse, breaking dawn, arabic dictionary, literature textbook, critical thinking and linguistics textbooks...*fuh...*), what i was saying? oh, ..i've finished packing my very thick and heavy books home at noon, then i took some old newspapers, browsed through, looking for 'baby dumping' articles and 'PPSMI' articles..for homework, of course!

It was 3.45 pm, (15 minutes to 4.00 pm, the time which we have planned to get our butt off our room head to KL Sentral) but instead of getting ready, i climbed up my bed, and slept! haha. that's right. i thought of taking a nap for 15 minutes, it was definitely a wishful thinking! we, yes, we as in my roommate and me, overslept until 5.30 pm! so, goodbye KLCC! goodbye bookfest!

At 6.00 pm we managed to get the bus. By the time we arrived at KL Sentral, it was time to eat!!! haha. BURGER KING we conquered!!!! (evil laugh...)

By 9.30 pm, we sat at KFC eating our Burger King leftover (hehe) waiting for the clock to hit 10.00 pm.. suddenly, we heard an announcement (the guy's voice sounded very handsome and his /t/ sound was, well, was very American, huhu).

it turned out that our train got delayed for 5 hours! just kidding. 10 minutes je lah.. hehe. so, while waiting for another 10 minutes, we talk crap and more crap.. until suddenly we heard the 'handsome' voice again saying, ' this is the last call for passengers of Senandung Mutiara, this is the last call, the train will depart in a few minutes' (something like that...hehe). Surprised, stunned, we immediately, took our bags and ran, yes, we ran to the train. Thank God. (Nasib baik giler kan TiTi???? *fuh!).

The train ride was great. I mean it was really great. I bought 2 Reader's Digests, so we were occupied with them for about two hours-which at the time we have had another 5 hours to go-then off course, we slept. At about 6.00 am, Sunday, we arrived at Bukit Mertajam station. My drowsiness immediately vanished as i saw the faces of my loved ones, my brother, my beautiful mother, and my dad, in that order...

As soon As I arrived...

What a wonderful feeling being home... :) i missed my room, my cozy room... though, i didn't continue my sleep marathon.. i couldn't sleep anymore, too excited being home. hehe. so I ended up 'facebooking' until it was 9.00 am or so...

Not long after that, we went out. Shopping!

And that became... or is it become? maybe has become? anyway, since that day until today, we went out shopping everyday! Have gotten myself a Polo watch, a pair of shoes, 2 modern kurung, and some blouses. And owh, two new books, hehe, Rojak by Amir Muhamad, and Glimpses by Adibah Amin. Maybe the Merdeka spirit gotten me quite later than it should...hmm...
