With Joy Today

I was with Joy today
Waking up with Joy
Started the day with Joy

I walked around with Joy
Going around in the heat with Joy
Smiled and happy with Joy

It is now towards the end of the day
It is now time to bid farewell to Joy

I know eventually I will have to say goodbye
So for every chance I get to have Joy in my day,
I will always look at Joy every inch every detail,
'I need to save this memory of Joy'
'I need to remember this Joy'
and at times with tears and fear
I smiled and cherished every minute every second
Every little things I have with Joy

With Joy today
I was happy and all was nice
With Joy today
I wished the time stops and pauses

I was with Joy today
But I had to say 'Good Bye'
With heaviest heart and forceful smile
I said my 'Bye'

And now
As Joy gets further away

I am left with a no stranger
A no stranger keeping me company tonight
Of course it is none other than..
My loyal friend
